- Z Spot New York, the finale in a trio of events to celebrate Fujifilm's FinePix Z20fd digital camera, was held at Arena in New York City on Thursday, November 20.

Hosted by celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, the evening began with a panel discussion that focused on the relationship between fashion, style, design and technology.

- In a flashy, live couture fashion battle produced by the House of Diehl, students from NYC's top fashion design schools competed to create couture designs on live models using Fujifilm photo prints as the "fabric" of their creations.

The Z Couture: Tech & Fashion Panel Contest
- To enter Fujifilm's Z Couture Tech & Fashion Contest, today's young, geek-chic generation were asked to submit their ideas on what's next for the convergence of fashion/style/design and technology.
- Fujifilm awarded the Grand Prize Winner, urban designer Myranda Sims, a trip to New York City to attend Z Spot New York, meet today's leading fashion and technology design influencers and cover Fujifilm's Fashion & Technology panel and Fashion Battle

Z Spot NY was preceded by the 'premiere' Z Spot LA event with a performance by indie band No Age, and Z Spot Miami, which took place at M.I.A. Skate Park, featuring pro skateboarders Habitat Skate Crew and music from DJ Z-Trip.

In July 2008, Fujifilm launched ZSpotNow for its FinePix Z20fd digital camera. The social network is designed for young camera enthusiasts to share images, videos and information and receive the latest information on special events around the nation. Each Z Spot event was accompanied by a contest that included the creation of a short film and redesigning the Fujifilm Z20 logo.
