If a top international model wants to walk the ramp to earn to buy winter clothes for kids in need at the Toronto Fashion Week, then it had to be one and only one - Yasmine Warsame.
This Somali born beauty flew in from Europe to make a special appearance on condition that her earning at the show matched those of the designers at the Pink Tartan's spring/summer 2006 label for the cause.
And the beneficiary in this case was Nellie's, a local feminist organization that helps women and children deal with homelessness.
Sum though undisclosed, Yasmine said she would keep the kids in coats, boots, hats, mittens, jeans and sweaters for at least the season.
Warsame besides bringing in her charms and celebrity status to Pink Tartan's show, also lent a helping hand for a just cause.
