Following the enthusiastic reception of their first men's python shoe designs, Gleni have just created several more designs and styles of men's shoes to complete the collection. Wholesale clients and private customers can now choose from 12 different designs of luxury hand-made python shoes, crafted in Gleni's Italian workshops.

Python leather shoesGleni specialize in working with quality exotic leathers and are well-known for their exotic leather handbags and accessories, which are 100% Made in Italy. This men's shoe collection was conceptualized as an extra service for their customers, who were asking for shoes produced with the same quality and craftsmanship that Gleni guarantee in their handbags. The response from customers when the first designs were unveiled in September 2008 was very positive.

“Our customers loved the quality and craftsmanship of our pilot men's shoe collection and were asking for more,” said Arben Qoku, director of Gleni, “so we have been working with our designers to produce a whole range of classic, top quality men's shoe designs.”

With a wealth of skilled artisan workshops on their doorstep, Gleni have access to the best of the traditional Italian leather craftsmen, in a country which has been famed for its shoes and leather goods for centuries. As with all Gleni products, these men's shoes are 100% made in Italy, both sole and upper, and are hand-crafted by specialist artisans in supple python leather.

With men's fashion becoming more high profile, many men have been looking for more than the usual conservative stand-bys of the past fifty years, when it comes of shoes and leather accessories. They are looking for modern luxury and see no reason why women should be the only ones to enjoy the renowned qualities of exotic leather.

“Men want luxury and elegance too,” said Gleni's marketing director. “Our male customers have been coming to us for belts and accessories for years but were telling us they wanted more. Why couldn't we design them shoes to go with the belts? they demanded. So now we have listened to them and come up with exactly what they have asked for: top quality, luxury python shoes, in a variety of classic and fashionable designs. We've designed our shoes for the confidant man who wants to look and feel elegant, whether he is dressing for a business function or a special date, when he wants to look his best and be comfortable too.”

Python leather is light but strong and supple, so shoes made in it are extremely comfortable to wear, as well as having the advantage that the python scale patterns are very classy and fashionable.

The shoe designs in Gleni's collection include formal dress shoes, several classic lace-up styles, slip-on shoes and ankle boots, as well as some more casual and trendy urban designs. All the shoes are made in quality python leather, which is selected for its suppleness and elegance from top Italian tanneries. The latest designs come in several shades of brown or black, though can also be custom-made in a wide range of other colors according to the customer's preference.

The shoes are made to order, so color and size can be specified when ordering. A selection will also be available to private customers directly in the Gleni Boutique, so that, if their size is in stock, they can have their shoes delivered immediately. Wholesaler clients can order directly from Gleni's e-catalogue.
