This latest two-day session of Interfilière Evolution Days brought together 47 companies, each a key player in their sector. Given the mood of caution created by the current economic context, the majority of exhibitors were satisfied by their participation in the workshop (André Avio, Desseilles International, Dogi, Liebaert, Noyon, Piave Maitex, Sakae Lace, Takeda lace, etc.), having successfully met the clients expected.

Visitor numbers rose in comparison to 2007: with 70% French and 30% foreign buyers who spent, on average, one day at the show. Twenty countries were represented, the vast majority from Europe. The show notably attracted visitors from Russia, Romania, Slovenia, Poland, Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco, Israel, the USA and Canada.

Manufacturers represented 51.37% of visitors, mass-market and multiple retailers 9.3%. It is worth noting the high percentage of design agencies (15% of visitors), reinforcing the relevance of the show thanks to their role as opinion-leaders.

Finally, 81% of buyers present were directly involved in the buying process (buying managers, designers/pattern-makers, managing directors, production managers, collection managers, etc.), demonstrating the caliber of networking potential. The labels represented included:

Manufacturers:
Anti Flirt, Aubade, Barbara, Cadolle, Chantelle, D Nu D, Daniel Hechter Lingerie, Dim, Erès, Eva Rachline, G9 8, Hanro International, Hugo Boss, Jolidon, Kenzo, Kookai Lingerie, Lejaby, Lanvin, Lisca, Nina Ricci, Palmetta, Pluto, Simone Pérèle, Sophie Malagola, Tommy Hilfiger, Triumph, Wacoal France…

Mass-market and multiple retailers:
Cannelle, Charlott, Emc Distribution, Etam Lingerie, La Redoute, Marks & Spencer, Pimkie, Système U…

Finally, both Summer 2010 trends conferences given by Jos Berry, Director of the Concepts Paris design agency, attracted a crowd and offered an initial response to the visitor demand for fashion information.
