myShape reveals new style trends for early spring

Jan '09
myShape reveals outfits to fit your personality and looks for the coming year. Patty Fox, myShape.com's Chief Creative Officer, Fashion Coordinator for the Academy Awards, and best-selling author, reveals outfits that suit your personality and style along with a preview of early spring looks for 2009.

What comes first; the trend or the trendsetter? For years women have sought the answer to this question and oftentimes found themselves following some questionable fashion trends; ultra mini skirts, hippie fashions and the futuristic musings of the late 60s come to mind! With 2009 looking like a zinger on the economic front, women will be second guessing fashion spending and looking for value at every turn.

Before making any fashion decisions, Patty Fox suggests that you ask yourself "Who are you today?" to discover outfits that fit your style personality. To help, myShape.com offers a free Personal Shop where women can discover what fashions, trends and individual styles match their measurements, fit and fashion preferences.

For early Spring 2009, the fashion offerings at myShape.com reflect personalities that fit and flatter each individual woman. For the Modern Classic woman, the 'American Beauty' trend offers a modern twist on American classics. A strong vintage red, a vibrant navy and plenty of crisp whites are offered in fresh stripes, color blocks and suiting separates that come together in endless combinations.

For the Artistic Trendy woman, the 'Bohemian Chic' trend looks offer women visual treats such as exotic prints, warm spice colors and slightly more fashion forward silhouettes such as long dresses and soft suitings. For the Romantic Glam woman, the selection of 'Garden Party' looks offers plenty of pretty dresses with soft cardigans for layering. Blossom prints both large and small work well under more structured blazers for day into evening dressing.
