For Fall 2009 collection Ann focuses on exotic avant garde separates - Tailored Jackets, skirts, pants and coats. She incorporates luxurious fabrics with exquisite embroideries and details. With this collection Ann exposes her tailoring background. Her collection appeals to women who collect one of a kind artistic creations.

NY based Fashion Designer Ann Spoyer presents Fall 2009 'TAJ MAHAL' Preppy Bohemian Collection during Fashion Week in New York on Feb 20, 2009. Fashion Presentation in Manhattan is by invitation only to selected group of fashion buyers and media.

Ann Spoyer's understanding of vintage clothing, fashion history and tailoring is often seen in her work. Her past experience as Costume Designer for TV and film has enabled this collection to be a success.

The eponymous Ann Spoyer brand is synonymous with exotic elegance. The designer's passion for travel is implemented in the design process and shows in her exquisite creations. Ann's profound love of culture and beauty as well as her Spanish and East Indian heritage, are reflected in her choices of fabrics and cut.

Her style is described as preppy-bohemian luxe in a rich color palette and ethnic details. Ann uses luxury colorful fabrics of natural fibers often decorated with elegantly embroidered designs and/or prints. She creates feminine looks for the style-conscious woman.
