Skins to receive new Brazilian manufactured S/S collection
Feb '09
Skins Inc (SKNN), a developer of revolutionary, patented, two-part interchangeable footwear, announced that the Spring/Summer 2009 order from its Brazilian manufacturing partner HENRICH E CIA LTDA will be air-shipped to Skins this week and the balance by the middle of next week.

The company decided that it would be more prudent to make sure the product was manufactured perfectly rather than to rush delivery into stores by the end of February. The company now expects to ship to stores during the second week of March with all product in stores with our retail partners no later than March 14th.

Mark Klein, President of Skins, commented, "With just finishing a successful US trade show season this week, we are now aggressively calling on US based retailers to partner with us for the current season in addition to booking futures for FW 09.

In parallel we are actively recruiting new sales representatives in key regions throughout the US. Next week we will be meeting with potential distribution partners for FW 09 in Europe at the Micam show in Milan Italy, exploiting the current opportunity to differentiate in an otherwise stale industry. We at Skins are very excited to be imminently receiving our Spring/Summer 2009 collection here in the US and to finally be in the position to market the product technology at a mass scale”.

Prior to product being available in stores, the company will announce publicly both the Internet and brick and mortar retailers that will be carrying the Skins product line.
