Wisconsin Avenue gets Ed Hardy store

Christian Audigier announces the opening of his newest Ed Hardy store in Georgetown, 1250 Wisconsin Avenue, Washington, D.C.
Special celebrity guest appearances include NFL players Clinton Portis and Rock Cartwright of the Washington Redskins, Vernon Davis of the San Francisco 49ers, Marc Barnes, owner of Love nightclub, and other surprise guests. Champagne and hors d'oeuvres will be served, and the Ed Hardy Spring 2009 collection will be showcased.
"I am thrilled to open a store in our nation's capital," Christian Audigier said. "Wisconsin Avenue provides a picturesque, historic background for my cutting edge and trendy fashions!"
In less than four years, the Christian Audigier companies have launched an international portfolio of eight fashion forward designer brands, including Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier, SMET, Crystal Rock, and most recently Rock Fabulous, C-Bar-A, VIF Speed Shop, and Paco Chicano. The companies, led by Christian Audigier, design and produce tattoo-inspired t-shirts and other apparel, as well as license their brands and designs to a network of over seventy-five licensees.
