Lavanya Nalli (LN) a premium fashion brand for the discerning urban women was launched amongst glitterati.

Founded by Lavanya Nalli, as her own entrepreneurial venture and business initiative, the LN experience has identified Bangalore as the first location for the launch.

“We are committed towards breathing fresh life into traditional crafts by making them very urban and chic”, said Lavanya Nalli, Founder-Director of her eponymous retail brand “The Lavanya Nalli Experience will embed cosmopolitan aesthetics within intricate craftsmanship” she added.

LN aims at being a retailing brand that creates ethical fashion, creating a design-led brand that follows a socially-conscious approach. The forte of LN will include exclusive sarees with very distinct designs; most of the products are designed in-house and cannot be found anywhere else as it is difficult to replicate designs that have been developed through collaboration effort with craft communities.

LN will offer a range of dupattas and stoles along with an enticing range of ethnic wear for women. The shopper can also have a pick at the collection of bags, accessories and soft furnishing. Currently, offerings from the stable of LN distinctly fall within one of the following themes: Black & White Collection, Vibrants Collection and Jaipur Collection.

Ranjann, a fashion photographer from Paris, together with Savio Jon, one of the leading stylists and designers in India, fashioned an iconic campaign that captured the essence of the LN persona: feminine, intelligent and eternally stylish with a streak of fun yet rooted in heritage.

The inaugration of the LN experience was flagged off on Sunday, March 15th and was opened by Shobha Karanje, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister.

The launch of the LN experience was unravelled in the midst of a fashion show choreographed by India's iconic image consultant, Prasad Bidappa, to showcase some of the highlights of her collection, and a contemporary dance sequence by Attakkalari – Centre for movement arts.
