Moda Platform launches at Moda Woman

August 2009 will see the launch of a brand new area dedicated to new and niche womenswear names, when Moda platform is introduced to Moda woman.
Launched at Moda Menswear in August 2008 and tripled in size for February '09, Moda Platform featured an impressive list of contemporary and heritage labels not seen at the show before. Moda Woman is renowned for its commitment to brands whose high quality and individual style set the stores who stock them apart from the high street. The new area will be introduced to Moda Woman to provide a showcase for new, niche names.
“We've had a lot of interest from contemporary and niche brands, wanting to come to Moda Woman this season. After the success of Moda Platform in menswear, we are excited about bringing a similar concept to our womenswear show.”Sarah Moody, Event Director, Moda Woman.
Moda Woman will continue to give a complete overview of what the sector has to offer, including an exciting mix of established names and brand new launches. Look out for regular womenswear exhibitors Gardeur, Concept K, Pomodoro, Adini and Neon Buddha already signed up for Moda Woman in August.
Moda Menswear will again bring together the brands which matter to today's menswear retailers, mixing major names from across Europe with new arrivals from both the UK and overseas. Returning to Moda after an absence is quality German label Campione and international label Pierre Cardin. New additions to Moda Platform in August include premium Italian tailoring label Facis, Calvin Klein accessories, joining Calvin Klein underwear, and Gabicci Vintage presenting their retro casual wear collection.
Moda August '09 will offer a strong, trend-focused line-up from over 1400 exhibitors and collections. With an increasing number of buyers wanting to see more womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessory brands in one place, Moda offers the best way to get an overview of the seasons must have trends. The next edition will see further new names added to the line up and the introduction of new initiatives ensuring Augusts' show will be an unmissable event.
