Lviv Fashion Week proves its status of international fashion-project

Lviv Fashion Week was organized for the third time on the 3-5 of April 2009. 25 collections of well – known and new-to-the-scene designers from Ukraine, Russia, Poland, France, Estonia, Latvia were presented during three days on the stage of Lviv Fashion Week, 200 mass media representatives were accredited and about 12000 guests went to see this occasion.

Lviv Fashion Week started with collection of Yuliya Lehiv that was shown by famous Ukrainian writers. Such unusual models were in the spotlights of all journalists.

Everybody was surprised by Petro-Nesterenko's colorful collection for men. Bright colours, unusual performance, unique soundtrack and accessories made unforgettable and positive impression of his collection and he gave energetic mood to the audience for 3 days of Lviv Fashion Week. New collection “autumn-winter 2009/10” were demonstrated by Baiba Ripa (Latvia), Britt Samoson (Estonia), Agnieszka Swiatly, Alicja Czarniecka (Poland), Christophe le Bo (France) and by Ukrainian designers Konstantin Ponomaryov, Rusha Polyakova, ?atsentyuk & Mykytyuk.

French fashion house of Christophe le Bo presented two collections – prêt-à-porter and wedding dresses. One of the most famous designers of Ukrainian fashion industry – Roksolana Bogutska took part in Lviv Fashion Week for the first time. As usual her collection and her show were irreproachable and became big event for her native city Lviv.

There was a showroom in the hall, where designers could show their collections. Also during Lviv Fashion Week were organized different art events, exhibitions and charity auction.

Lviv Fashion Week came to an end with presentation of new Mercedes-Benz E class in the final of Rusha Polyakova's fashion show. Lviv Fashion Week had proved its status of international fashion-project with high level of organization and become the biggest image event in Lviv cultural life.
