Wedding business rises above economic gloom

Popular features of the show this year included the finale of the CRYSTALLIZED Young Designers Award, celebrity make up artist Joelle Mardinian filming her MBC show “Joelle” live from the exhibition hall, a 'best dressed visitor' competition organised by style consultants Image Factor and the interactive Inspiration Zone, which saw visitors learn more about flower arranging, jewellery making and interior decoration.
The second edition of Women's Healthcare, running alongside The Bride Show, drew in household names such as Fitness First, Nintendo Wii and Nivea. Free fitness classes, opening visitors' eyes to a range of different ways to get active, such as group drumming circles and high-energy workouts on Kangoo Jump boots, drew as many curious onlookers as they did participants.
The Bride Show Abu Dhabi will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 10 to 13 February, 2010, while The Bride Show Dubai returns to the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from 14 to 17 April 2010.
