Thierry Henry stars in Reebok Valde ads

Reebok revealed a series of three stunning new advertisements entitled 'PLAY RESPONSIBLY' to celebrate the launch of Reebok's most powerful ever football boot - the Reebok Valde.
In the ads, FC Barcelona and France striker Thierry Henry is sensationally shown destroying everything from cars to buildings with a series of explosive strikes!
The dramatic ads, shot in Barcelona show France´s all-time greatest goalscorer filmed using cutting-edge Hollywood special effects to vividly bring to life the power of the Valde boot.
“I had a great time making the ad – I've done many things with a football on the pitch but this is the first time I've used one to explode cars – a bit like being on the set of an action film!” said Henry. “It was really fun, and an interesting way of showing the real benefits of this Power Unit boot technology.” he continued.
Joining him on the set were the Reebok Ambassadors, a team of young amateur footballers who won Reebok Valde boot deals via a European-wide competition. They were given exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the Valde shoot, as well as being officially presented with their first pair of Reebok Valde boots by Thierry Henry.
Roy Gardner, VP Marketing Reebok Europe said, “The Valde is the most powerful boot Reebok has ever made, so we're urging players to play responsibly when wearing them!”
Using Reebok's revolutionary Power Unit Technology for increased shot power, the Valde allows you to kick harder, further and faster!
The Valde is intelligently designed to counter the natural deformation of the boot and foot that occurs when striking the ball that ultimately leads to a loss of kicking power. By applying Reebok's strategic Power Unit technology to the outsole and upper of the boot rigidity is enhanced therefore reducing power loss when striking the ball. This enables you to strike the ball cleaner and harder, so every kick counts.
Packed with features to keep you one step ahead of the opposition, the Valde includes an exquisitely soft kangaroo leather upper and asymmetrical lacing for a comfortable fit and superior boot to ball contact. Medial rubber grip zone towards the front of the boot enhances ball control and shot swerve, helping you curl shots around anything that stands in your way.
The Valde is available in both removable stud and moulded stud versions at select retailers worldwide.
