dELiA*s reaches 100th store milestone

dELiA*s Inc, a direct marketing and retail company comprised of two lifestyle brands primarily targeting girls and young women between the ages of 12 and 19 announced the opening of its 100th store location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Robert E. Bernard, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are very pleased to have achieved this important milestone for our Company and our dELiA*s brand. We look forward to continuing to provide our dELiA*s Girl with an exciting merchandise assortment through our stores as well as our catalogs.”
Mr. Bernard continued, “We are especially pleased this milestone opening is at the Mall of Louisiana, one of the premier shopping destinations in the country.”
The Company ended fiscal year 2008 with 97 stores, and it expects to open approximately 12 new locations in fiscal year 2009.
