Debut of Alexander Julian Colours men's collection to at JCP

Hampshire Group Limited announced the launch of Alexander Julian Colours, a new men's sportswear collection of wovens, knits and sweaters. The collection will debut in JCPenney stores and jcp.com in Fall 2009. Hampshire Group joins seven other Alexander Julian Inc apparel licensees in representing the new energy and direction of the iconic brand.
Designed to appeal to the man looking for enduring classics with a twist, the new collection reflects the singular design sensibility of Award winning Designer Alexander Julian, named nine times to the International Best Dressed List. With attention paid to every detail, from an updated logo and trend right designs to the signature use of color and pattern, each piece is imprinted with Mr. Julian's innovative sense of style. The Fall 2009 merchandise assortment includes sweaters and woven shirts.

These designs are not only timeless but an opportunity for self-expression,” said Mr. Julian. “The ability to offer newness at an accessible price point, without sacrificing taste or quality, is of special importance during these challenging times.
