Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show continues to show strong sales

dmg world media announced the 14th annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show had high sales despite the current state of the economy. Attendance for the second day of the annual trade-only show broke records set in previous years. The show was held at Bally's May 28-June 1, 2009.
The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, which opened two days before the JCK Show, brought together more than 300 nationally and internationally renowned dealers with rare and unusual historical antique and vintage pieces, gemstones, and antique watches from famous brands including Cartier, Rolex, Tiffany's, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe and Van Cleef & Arpels.
“Our Las Vegas show continues to show strong sales,” said Andrea Canady, fair director for dmg world media's Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show. “We are extremely pleased that this year's showing continues to solidify the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show as the ultimate place for exhibitors to obtain the most coveted and finest pieces in jewelry, watches and gemstones.”
Exhibitors at the show had favorable reports with regard to attendance and sales.
“We are relatively new to the Las Vegas show as this was only our second year exhibiting here. This year's show exceeded our most optimistic expectations and we had an excellent show,” said Lenore Dailey, owner of Lenore, LLC. in Palm Springs, Calif.
“The show environment was very positive and we were very pleased with our dealings with everyone. We made many new business contacts both with dealers at the show and with outside customers. This show is an excellent venue for any dealer who wishes to enter the national and international markets, thus providing numerous opportunities to expand one's business beyond just a relatively smaller local market.”
Chris Mulloy, owner of Chris Mulloys Antiques in Palm Springs, Calif., said, “Once again this show surpassed our expectations! I saw all my long time clients and met many new!”
The 2010 Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show is scheduled for June 3-6, 2010 at the MGM Grand. The next show on the U.S. calendar for dmg is the New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show held July 24-27, 2009, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.
