Japan is an important market for the British fashion and accessories sector yet it is very difficult to break into, which is why UK Fashion Exports (UKFE) is organising its second Selling to Japan seminar on Thursday 16 July from 4pm to 6pm at 5 Portland Place, London W1.
Speakers will include Richard Craig of Margaret Howell, who will give a personal account of how to succeed in the region.
“The Japanese market has a very distinctive structure as well as an exacting customer base. It requires a unique approach as well as patience and hard work, “ explains Paul Alger, executive director, UK Fashion Exports, the export division of the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT), who is a regular visitor to Japan and who will provide an overview of the country.
