LeAngela as 1st runner up at Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant

LeAngela Davis, a Hooters Girl at the Hooters of Columbus, OH returned home $15,000 richer after placing 1st runner up of the top 10 finalists at the Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant on June 20th in Fort Lauderdale. She was selected from 133 Hooters Girl contestants that traveled from as far as the Philippines to represent the 450 Hooters restaurants around the world.
"Every Hooters Girl contestant worked hard to be here to compete in the pageant," stated Beth Taylor, Pageant Director. "Columbus was well represented with LeAngela who caught the judges' eyes and stood out amongst the competition." The contestants that competed in Fort Lauderdale were selected from over 17,000 Hooters Girls by either advancing through local and regional contests or because they are featured as a month photo in the Hooters Calendar.
Hooters of America Inc is the franchisor and operator of over 450 Hooters restaurants in 43 states and 26 foreign countries. The first Hooters opened in 1983 in Clearwater, Florida.
