Albertus Swanepoel does signature Khaki Collection for GAP

Albertus Swanepoel's personal take on classic Gap Khaki with a collection of five hats, has just gone live at the iconic retailer's stores across the USA as well as online at gap.com.
Gap commissioned the collection, which features sassy contemporary twists on the traditional safari hat, as part of Swanepoel's prize as a runner-up in the 2008 Vogue/Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Fund Awards. Fellow CFDA nominees Vena Cava and Alexander Wang's signature Gap Khaki collections were launched simultaneously.
Swanepoel was also nominated for the CFDA's Swarovski Award for Accessories at their annual awards ceremony to celebrate outstanding achievements in the fashion world last week.
