The latest collections of six young Hong Kong fashion designers – Mandy Cheng, Chow Tan Tan, Spy Henry Lau, Hin Lee, DoDo Leung and Harrison Wong – will be on display at a fashion show, 29 August, in Taipei, Taiwan. The Hong Kong Fashion Designer Pavilion, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council(HKTDC), helps promote the creativity of Hong Kong fashion designers in the Taiwan market. Profiles of the seven designers follow:

Mr Chow was champion of the Zhonghua Cup of Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival in 2001. A Hong Kong designer with nearly 20 years' experience, Ms Leung specialises in ladies' high fashion and evening wear, with an emphasis on cutting and embroidery design. She is planning to develop a retail business for her couture lingerie collections.

Fait a main
Since launching in 2001, fait a main has become synonymous with high-quality ready-to-wear for women. The label carries a full range of women's fashion, with two major collections a year – spring/summer and fall/winter. The label, which got its start with Hong Kong retailers Lane Crawford and Joyce, is now available in Australia, the Chinese mainland, France, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, the Philippines, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. In 2006, fait a main opened a concept store in Hong Kong's Causeway Bay.
