Bernadine Design launches Lattice Collection

Fine jewelry company Bernadine Design Co. announced the launch of its new Lattice Collection. Inspired by photographs taken by owner and designer Bernadine Wang, the collection features intricate lattice patterns fashioned after ancient Chinese window architecture from a small village near Shanghai. The collection includes necklace pendants, earrings and rings made with 18 karat yellow, rose or white gold and lined with white, champagne, brown or black diamonds.

The Lattice Collection is available for viewing online at or for purchase in the store in Burlingame, Calif. Jewelry purchased from the Lattice Collection comes with an innovative, 2-in-1, redwood display box that doubles as home decor. The top layer features a glass front display for the jewelry piece and the back layer offers hidden storage as well as materials and photographs behind the Lattice Collection.

"I am proud and excited to launch the Lattice Collection and am pleased with how well I was able to honor the original art through jewelry," said Bernadine. "After years of traveling around the world, I was so moved by the stunning, intricate lines of the Chinese windows and couldn't wait to design a collection around them."

Bernadine has been designing jewelry since 2001, opened her own gallery in 2008 and draws unique inspiration from her international photography. With a formal background in fine art photography, she travels around the world with her Nikon D700 in search of beautiful architecture and breathtaking settings that evoke emotions and inspire her art. Bernadine cleverly utilizes innovative and sometimes risky methods to capture the essence of her photography in jewelry form by integrating rare diamonds and intricate patterns to create specific meanings for each piece.
