Here are some of the many highlights to be found at Copenhagen Fashion Fairs this August - brands and launches to keep an eye on as the doors to CPH Vision and Terminal-2 open on Thursday 6 August. CPH Vision and Terminal-2 are the places to find the brands of the future - exciting new names and re-launches that you might have not heard of before along with all the latest fashion and lifestyle trends.

TERMINAL-2 HIGHLIGHTS
PRO-Keds
With Bonvita as its new Scandinavian agency, PRO-Keds, one of the world's oldest sneaker brands, re-launches The Royal, one of their all-time classics. In the history of professional basketball The Royal has been famed for being the favourite basketball shoe of numerous NBA superstars like Nate 'Tiny' Archibald, JoJo White and Bob Love. Coinciding with the increased interest in the 90s, the PRO-Keds range has been developed and several new limited editions launched in new styles, colour ranges and materials - many of them destined to become collectors' items.

SPERRY TOP-SIDER
Also at Bonvita and exhibiting at Terminal-2 is Sperry Top-Sider, the original boat shoe. Introduced in 1935 by Paul Sperry, the brand was a pioneer in the world of professional sailing. The Original, as the world's first boat shoe is called, will be launched in two new editions for Spring/Summer 2010, one in top quality canvas and the other in leather with leather laces.

K-SWISS
In early spring of 2010, K-Swiss's classic slim silhouette will be launched in the lightest materials culminating in Speedster Classic, one of the lightest tennis shoes on the market. The Lozan Tongue Twister is another K-Swiss classic to reinvent itself and the Tongue Twister will be introduced in a remastered edition with updated technology that makes it possible to change its silhouette as and when you want.

TRUE
Founded in 2002 by Danish designers Signe Kjer and Anders Schrill, True has quickly become a phenomenal success and can now be found in some of the best shops around the world. True exports to countries like France, Germany, Japan and Italy. The duo started out designing a small collection with tees, sweats, pants and shirts, aiming to bring high fashion to the people. Last year the collection introduced ten styles, mixing the classic chino look with pleats and waistbands to create an updated look in trousers. Today, True designs four collections a year and strongly delineates the classic Scandinavian look with a prominent sense of colour.

28 STREET
Gothenburg-based designer Sarah and photographer Thomas decided to start 28 Street in the spring of 2008. Their philosophy is simple - "an exciting collaboration and unexpected encounter between design and photography". Spring/Summer 2010 is inspired by multi-coloured and delicious Swedish sweets - without a doubt the best confectionary in the world. This time around, the design duo has not had to look any further for inspiration than their local confectionary shop in Gothenburg. This has resulted in a collection sprinkled with the colours of confection like marshmallow, liquorice, banana and bubble gum. "This time we have stayed at home doing what we do best, creating excellent styles with some of our bestselling pieces".
