Carlton hair adds flair to Sanlam SA Fashion Week

Carlton Hair International is the first choice when it comes to South Africa's most prestigious fashion and beauty events, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity once again to partner with the Sanlam South African Fashion Week, South Africa's most respected fashion platform to date.

Carlton Hair will support a selection of well-established as well as up-and-coming designers including Guillotine, Lunar, Clive Rundle and Strangelove. The Hair Styling teams will be led by Cindy Stewart, team leader of both the Carlton Hair and the Davines Artistic Team.

This season we see hair break away from the recession gloom with a movement towards a new intensity in colour. The colours for the season are bright coppers, reds, deep violets and indigo. Our trend prediction for summer is the movement towards the placement of colour as opposed to the highlighted look. With colour placement sections of the hair are colored with different shades giving the hair a more natural look and progression in colour.

The look for style and cut this season is either a much shorter, cropped, choppy style.
On the other end of the scale we are anticipate a movement towards longer, romantic styles - longer styles are given attitude through heavy fringes.

Carlton will portray the hottest trends in hair styling on the catwalks of Sanlam SA Fashion week this season, be sure not to miss it!
