Discussion on colors & patterns for F/W 2010 at GlobalTex

Market Center Management Company(MCMC), the management company of leading wholesale trade centers and trade events around the world, announced Peri O'Connor, founder of PERISCOPE, and Stephane Vernet, president of Creations Robert Vernet, will present Print Direction for Fall/Winter 2010 during the upcoming edition of GlobalTex, October 13-15, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC).

The seminar will take place on Tuesday, October 13th in the Seminar Suite on the show floor (LACC, South Hall, Hall G). O'Connor and Vernet will discuss hot new prints and art direction for Fall/Winter 2010. Attendees will learn about the popular colors and patterns that will be hits for the upcoming selling season and what to expect in the future for trend direction in prints.

In addition to the seminar, PERISCOPE will present an edited selection of its resources during the show. “As we grow GlobalTex, it is a priority to continue offering leading trend resources for attendees,” said Stephanie Cole, vice president, GlobalTex. “PERISCOPE and Creations Robert Vernet offer just that as highly regarded leaders in the industry. In 2000, O'Connor founded PERISCOPE, the leading print design representation firm in Los Angeles and the only headquartered in the heart of the garment industry. O'Connor started PERISOPE with a dedication to bringing the world's finest designs to the marketplace along with the highest level of service and support for both studios and buyers. GlobalTex trend partner Mudpie, will provide its trend books and online trend forecasting service. Also, Denimhead will participate in the show as the anchor of the Wear section, providing trend books and services geared toward helping companies begin the design process secure in their understanding of the direction the market is heading.

GlobalTex is the first full-scale production and design trade show in the United States presenting the complete supply chain for fashion.
