Annual Convention of American Leather Chemists in June, 2006

American Leather Chemists Association will host the 102nd Annual Meeting at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is a first class facility.
The official opening of the convention will begin with Registration on Wednesday, June 21, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm in the Regency Pre-function Room followed by a Cocktail Reception from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the Polaris Restaurant. Dinner and conversations with old and new associates of the leather industry will complete the evening.
ALCA President Nathan Mullinix will open the Technical Program at 8 am on Thursday. This year's technical program is being organized by Vice-President Dennis C. Shelly and will offer a wide array of leather technologies covering tanning to finishing to environmental issues and can be viewed in the coming months under this section of their website.
The John Arthur Wilson Lecture will feature Dr. Rainer Dorstewitz of Germany giving a presentation on his newly designed splitting machine. Their Technical Committees will have an opportunity to meet and have discussions during lunch-time. Thursday's activities will be capped off by the annual Fun Run followed by a tour of the Lakefront Brewery, fish fry and entertainment. This will be an exciting evening that you won't want to miss.
