Oriflame Cosmetics reports 18% rise in local currency sales

International cosmetic retailer, Oriflame Cosmetics announced three months ended 30 September 2005 Local currency sales increased by 18 percent and Euro sales grew by 20 percent, to €170.9m (€142.4m). Average size of the Sales Force increased by 14 percent, to 1,505,500 Consultants and productivity in local currency increased by 4 percent. Closing Sales Force was up by 13 percent EBITDA increased by 17 percent to €24.3m (€20.8m)
Operating margin amounted to 12.1 percent (12.9 percent) resulting in an operating profit of €20.8m (€18.4m)
Profit after tax increased by 9 percent to €16.0m (€14.7m).
