Nike's new Oregon store funds to Woodburn Athletic Futbol Club

Beaverton, Oregon based footwear maker Nike announced the official opening of its Factory Store at the Woodburn Company Stores. This new store opens in Oregan is the fourth Nike Factory Store in Oregon.
Ed Stair, General Manager of Nike Factory Stores stated that Nike is very proud to open their newest Factory Store at Woodburn Company Stores. This center attracts a great cross section of consumers from surrounding areas. In return, they're able to create 65 full- and part-time jobs and, through thier community involvement, provide support to kids in the Woodburn area.
To celebrate the grand opening, Nike made a footwear and product donation valued at $5,000 to the Woodburn Athletic Futbol Club. The donation is part of NikeGO, Nike's long-term commitment and signature US community affairs initiative aimed at getting kids more physically active. Luis Del Rio, President of the Woodburn Athletic Futbol Club, attended the ceremony and accepted the donation on the club's behalf.
The 15,000-square foot retail outlet is located at 1001 Arney Road in Woodburn. Nike's other Factory Stores in Oregon are located in Portland, Bend and Seaside. The company also has three Nike retail stores in Oregon, located in Eugene at 296 East 5th Avenue, at the Portland International Airport, and at SW 6th and Salmon in downtown Portland, which is the site of the first Niketown opened in 1990.
The Nike Factory Store at Woodburn Company Stores will carry a wide selection of Nike branded footwear, apparel and equipment from past seasons. The majority of the product will be close-out or overrun product sold at a discount consistent with other stores at the center. The Nike Factory Store in Woodburn is Nike's 78th factory store in the US.
