Premium-quality footwear designer Timberland reported third quarter net income of $69.2 million and diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.02, compared with third quarter 2004 net income of $68.6 million and diluted EPS of $0.96.
Third quarter 2005 results included previously disclosed pre-tax costs of $2.5 million related to the Company's restructuring of its Caribbean manufacturing facilities. Third quarter 2005 EPS excluding these restructuring charges was $1.05.
