Titan Industries has doubled its net profit at Rs 20.6 crore for period ended September 30, 2005, compared to last year's Rs 10.3 crore, during the same period.
From Rs 273.6 crore in second quarter of this year, total income (net of excise) rose 28 percent and reached Rs 349.4 crore.
Company's main product watches sales went up 24 percent, from Rs 156.07 crore in the second quarter last year to Rs 193.39 crore during the same phase this year, informs the company release.
Jewellery sales grew 30 percent to Rs 172.68 crore, up from Rs 132.93 crore registered in the second quarter last year.
