Esmod launches ME's first Master's Degree in fashion business

French Fashion University Esmod – Dubai, the only academic institution fully dedicated to fashion in the Middle East, has launched the region's first master's degree in fashion marketing and business in response to rising demand for quality fashion professionals amidst the rapid growth of the local and regional fashion sectors. The University will also roll out a new three-year program of fashion and makeup workshops for working women, with the initial batch to start in January 2010.

The Esmod Fashion & Marketing Master's Degree courses will be delivered by top instructors who will provide local and global insights on current fashion trends and best business practices. The new program will teach the proper use of marketing and management tools and techniques to capitalize on the tremendous growth opportunities of the Middle East, where the fashion sector has yet to fully mature. The Gulf's expanding clothing market alone is estimated at around USD 12 billion, offering lucrative prospects for both practitioners and entrepreneurs.
