Fashion boot & footwear retailer McRae Industries Inc reported consolidated net revenues from continuing operations for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2005 of $13,677,000, as compared to $21,993,000 for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2004. Net earnings from continuing operations for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2005 amounted to $140,000, or $.11 per diluted Class A common share, as compared to net earnings from continuing operations of $1,778,000, or $.68 per diluted Class A common share, for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2004.

McRae Industries Inc the Group's principal activities are to manufacture and sell bar code reading and related printing devices; manufacture and sell military combat boots, western and work boots and selling, leasing and servicing office equipment. The bar code unit manufactures and sells bar code reading and printing devices and other items related to optical data collection, including licensing and selling computer software.

The footwear segment manufactures western and work boots and combat boots. The office products segment sells, maintains and leases Toshiba photocopiers and facsimile machines and RISO digital/duplicators through its subsidiary, McRae Office Solutions Inc Office products accounted for 33 percent of fiscal 2002 revenues; military boots, 27 percent; western boots, 26 percent; bar code, 14 percent and corporate and other, nominal.
