Sophie Auster (daughter of well-known writer and cinema director Paul Auster) is one of the new faces of the Spring-Summer 2010 MANGO catalogue, and is bringing a modern fresh breath of air to the Spanish brand.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she began her acting career at the age of nine. One of her first films was Lulu on the Bridge, based on her father's novel. The actress also starred in the film Circuit, directed by Xavier Ribera and sponsored by MANGO. In her singing career, she is currently preparing the launch of her second album with the group One Ring Zero.

The photo shoot of this multi-talented woman took place at New York's legendary Electric Lady Studios, in the heart of the Great Apple and used by legendary singers and groups from Jimmy Hendrix to the Stones. During the shoot, Sophie revealed her singing side, posing with a guitar and a true rock star attitude, in a location where the greats recorded famous records.
