Launch of Kate Moss for Longchamp at HKIA

Nuance-Watson (Hong Kong)'s Longchamp boutique at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)takes pride in being the first and only retail door in Asia Pacific, both locally and in duty free, to mark the official launch of the “Kate Moss for Longchamp” signature bag collection.

With “Kate Moss for Longchamp”, the ultimate fashion icon translates her universally admired sense of style into a collection of bags that clearly defines Kate's personal vision while embracing concerns with which any woman will identify. Working closely with Artistic Director Sophie Delafontaine, Kate put her passion for fashion and her personal experience – of the runway and the red carpet, of travelling the world and of juggling roles as a model and a mother – into her designs.

The three themes (Rock n' Travel, Rock n' Casual and Rock n' Glam) reflect three facets of Kate's life, as they also speak to everyone's experience. For Kate, who has spent countless hours in airports ever since she was famously discovered at JFK at the age of just 14, the signature collection she has designed for Longchamp focuses clearly on functionality with comfort, style and sophistication - an absolute cool essential for every travelling women looking for high-fashion and star quality.

Since debuting the first boutique at HKIA in partnership with Nuance-Watson in 2003, Longchamp has long been a favorite among travellers. The new stand-alone Longchamp boutique was launched in July 2009 in an expanded retail space at HKIA Terminal 1 and has since become one of the most visited shopping destinations at the heart of the East Hall retail zone.

Longchamp was founded in Paris in 1948 and is still owned and run by the Cassegrain family. Diversified into luggage, handbags and accessories, Longchamp has asserted its fashion credentials with high-profile advertising campaigns, the creation of internationally desirable It-bags and the launch of a complete ready-to-wear collection. Combining affordable luxury with French flair and craftsmanship, Longchamp has more than 130 exclusive boutiques worldwide and is available in some 2,000 multi-brand stores in 101 countries.
