The Specifix collection also includes five breakthrough design patents and six innovative utility patents for improved fit and features. The design patents apply to Uvex VersaPro, Uvex PrecisionPro and Uvex ExtremePro spectacles as well as the nasal assembly and the wicking bar assembly.
The utility patents include the new nasal assembly with a wire core and flexible soft fingers; the nasal attachment to the lens; the headwidth adjustment combined with other adjustment features; the wicking subframe assembly and means of securing the textile material to the bar; and the blue mist lenses that provide cosmetic color and light filtration properties.
