Choose White Label this season

05
Mar '10
This season, plus size designer Anna Scholz introduces her distinctly premium White Label collection. It features both of-the-moment and timeless silhouettes, incorporating striking colour palettes and eye-catching prints in luxury fabrics.

For the Spring-Summer '10 White Label collection, Anna offers the flirty and flattering dresses that fans rely on as well as her signature kaftan and tunic styles with their bold prints and sequin embellishments. Her elegant tailoring and gorgeous coats are arresting and sexy.

Crepe Expectations
Anna loves to work with crepe jersey for its drape, its expensive weight and its versatility. Available in the season's hot electric blue colour, Anna's crepe wrap maxi dress sweeps in an elongating column. Her black fold-over jacket offers some of the sharp finish of a suit jacket or your boyfriend's blazer but in soft, feminine crepe which moves and flows.

Welcome to The Digital Age!
Anna's fresh digital prints lend a modern edge to her classically flattering silhouettes. The new digital “swirl” print is a galaxy of muted tones with supernovas of bright pink. It transforms Anna's silk pleat maxi dress with its sweeping lines and pintuck pleats into a graceful, contemporary statement piece.

Similarly, her wavy digital “spirograph” print gives bite to the elongated silhouette of Anna's sleeveless jersey maxi dress with flattering gathering details.

The digital “paintbrush” print is a riot of rainbow watercolours splashed over breezy silk habotai. Anna's handkerchief dress looks ethereal, edgy and elegant as it hangs in gossamer angles anchored by panels of black silk.

By Georgette, I Think We've Got It!
The filmy pleated georgette styles of the White Label create texture and elongating lines. A dramatic fall of delicate pleats cascade from around the neck of a nude-coloured waistcoat, floating like a Japanese fan. Anna's layered georgette trousers create an airy counterpoint to her sleek kaftan styles.

The Outer Limits
Anna reinvents classic outerwear shapes in the new White Label collection, adding pizazz to any outfit. The timeless structure of a trench is amped up with raw-edged ruffles in electric blue silk dupion. Swingy, vintage-inspired 50s jackets are brought up-to-the-minute in bright citrus silk dupion. Or go for an uptown rocker chick look with Anna's black suede fringe waistcoat with cool stitching details.

The Perfect Plus Size Fit
The use of luxury fabrics and cut to create an elongated elegant silhouette is a hallmark of Anna's plus size designs and curvy women's clothing. Sumptuous double silk and crepe attract with sinuous draping and sultry elegance. The folds and angles of silk habotai and georgette create texture and elongating lines.

Attention to detail and the perfect fit are always a priority with Anna-- herself a former plus size model. Empire waists and wrap styles slenderise the plus size figure. Cross fronts, ruching and gathering details play up your curves. Anna always incorporates these flattering “tricks” into sexy, contemporary plus size fashions.

A Site For Sore Eyes
For Spring-Summer 2010, the annascholz website has been completely revamped. Customers can view either the chic, deluxe White Label or the hip, trendy Black Label diffusion line – or both at once. Not only does the website have an all-new look and video options, but it features a new blog where customers are able to catch up on all the latest Anna Scholz happenings and interact with Anna.
