Siuli by Nikasha is a sensational on Lakmé Ramp

It was an elegant dream like delicate collection of soft pastels as white and crème played a melodious fashion symphony in Nikasha's Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2010 collection called “Siuli” based on the divinely fragrant flower called around which a mythical love story of Parjataka's romance with the sun was woven.
The garments were a perfect picture of enchanting romantic ensembles, in luxurious Benaras silk, chanderi, mul, chiffon and georgette which wove a story of grace and charm with shades of Pitambari yellow, haldi, red, rust and coral. Touches of embroidery like chikan work glittered with antique mukaish and Karchobi craft which were turned into tiny buds and knots. A mix of silhouettes ranged from the Boho look to Patiala salwar and Benares dupattas teamed with flowing blouses and saris while side tie-up tunics and blouses, shaded Lycra silk churidars, net frills and gota lace for asymmetric hemlines added a feminine touch.
The stunners were a shimmering georgette draped kurta with resham and zardozi work, an interesting shirt blouse choli, a sheer long kurta over a printed lining, a paneled waistcoat, a double layered lehenga, bias cut blouses with chikan work and zardozi flowers, backless kurta in a mix of saffron and rust and the finale – a stunning fiery red lehenga splashed with chikan and zardozi flowers and a seductive net dupatta was a perfect end to an ethereal show.
To add to the resort feel of the garments were the chunky necklaces, anklets and organza doll trimmings with ghungroos that will make the Siuli collection by Nikasha Tawadey ideal for those beach festivities or even a wedding on the sands.
