Lakmé Salon, expert in beauty services, has gone a step ahead in training aspiring stylists & beauticians in the fine art of beauty services with the launch of Lakmé Training Academy. Lakmé Salon is all set to provide aspirants with a platform to formally learn the skills of hair designing and skin care & make up as per international standards.

The larger vision of Lakmé Training Academy is to raise the profile of hairstyling and beauty professionals in the country by significantly improving the quality of hair designing and cosmetology education in India. To meet this objective, Lakme Salon has partnered with globally renowned educators from TIGI and Schwarzkopf to offer courses that will create beauty and hair experts.

Present at the launch, Anil Chopra, CEO and MD, Lakmé Lever said, “Behind the glitz and the glamour of the fashion industry lies an army of talented individuals who work tirelessly in less than pleasant environments to create the perfect look. Our mission is to identify, guide and nurture such talented aspirants and transform them into finest beauty and hair experts with expertise par international standards. ”

Throwing more light on curriculum, Shilpa Sinha, Chief Marketing Officer, Lakme Lever shares, “Lakme Training Academy focuses on specialized courses such as session styling, make up for shoots. We believe in imparting world-class expertise and offer adequate exposure to finest skin experts and hair designers from all across the globe to devote one-on-one time to educate and train the aspirants.”

Adds Sushma Khan, National Trainer - Skin & Make Up, Lakmé Salon said, “Our aim through this academy is to equip aspirants with a range of skills to commence their career as beauty and hair experts.” Sudeep Grover who is the National Trainer(Hair), Lakmé Salon believes that, “We are quite excited with our new proposition as this will provide newer avenues to students who are keen to sharpen their knowledge about the hair design and beauty industry. We are positive that Lakmé Training Academy will soon become one of the most sought after hair and beauty training academies by aspiring professionals.”

On successful completion of the programme, trainees will receive a certificate from Lakmé Lever with a specialization in beauty and hair care. In addition, aspirants will be eligible for permanent employment in Lakmé Studios and Salons across the country.
