In 2002, the organization was only the fifth team to be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame; followed by an induction into the Black Sports and Entertainment Hall of Fame and the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame.
The Globetrotters have also been recognized as the most popular sports team by the 2002, 2000 and 1999 Q Ratings.
Pony was founded in 1972 and quickly became one of the athletic brands of influence in the world.
Pony always had the distinctive position of a great logo, unique styling and edgy reputation.
The athletes who wore Pony were always at the top of their game, names like Wilt Chamberlain, Pele, Joe Frazier, Earl Campbell, John Havlicek, Dan Marino, Reggie Jackson, and Larry Holmes to name a few.
