The 19th edition of five-day MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show to be held in Sharjah on Nov 15-19 will witness good participation from Pakistan.
According to 0All Pakistan Gems Merchants and Jewellers Association (APGMJA) Muhammad Saeed Qureshi, Senior Vice Chairman said that 225 exhibitors from 25 countries including Pakistan will present at the show.
Other participant will come form India, Russia, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Bahrain, China, Italy, Jordan, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Lebanon, Singapore, Thailand and Turkey.
Pakistani exhibitors will focus on traditional jewellery such as bangles, stone-studded jewellery and Mughal (Kundan) state-of-the-art jewellery that is expected to catch attention of Middle East buyers featured in 2005-06 autumn and winter collection.
A wide range of choices in gold and diamond jewellery from Pakistan will also be available at the show, he said. As per Humayun Ahmad, a senior member of the APGMJA, Pakistani exhibitors are likely to pick four percent share at the five-day show displaying exquisite diamond and gold jewellery.
