Volcom announces SEC filing

Men's & women's clothing designing company Volcom Inc announced the filing of a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock.
Selling stockholders will offer all 5,000,000 shares in the proposed offering and, accordingly, all of the proceeds from the proposed offering will go to the selling stockholders.
In addition, certain selling stockholders identified in the prospectus have granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares to cover over-allotments of shares, if any
Wachovia Securities will serve as the managing underwriter and sole book running manager of the offering.
D.A. Davidson & Co. and Piper Jaffray will serve as co-managers of the offering.
When available, copies of the preliminary prospectus related to this offering may be obtained from Wachovia Securities, Attn: Equity Capital Markets, 7 St Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.
