Label's creator Kenzo's 'Pagodon bag' revisited by Antonio Marras.
Antonio Marras's creative work on the "Pagodon" bag gives Kenzo emblematic line an original, modern and urban allure.
Reinterpreted as a round and graphic visual the new logo gives birth to a playful, novel jacquard chenille canvas which comes in different colors: red, black, turquoise, yellow, orange and fuchsia.
A "day" version sets forth the concept in different bag shapes such as a basket, a satchel and small leather goods, key chain, wallet, change purse, all in one...
A "fashion show" version which comes in two sizes, medium or "mini", transforms the line into "jewelry" bags. The "kimono" buckle is revisited as a multicolored jewel and the velvet chenille canvas is embroidered with a colored pony trim.
The "Pagodon" line also exists in plain black or brown smooth calfskin, as well as in green nubuck, and is available in the Kenzo shops.
French label inventor Kenzo Takada is a creator of new techniques such as cut knit - was the first to introduce the concept of volume and freedom of movement into clothing.
Joining LVMH in 1993, Kenzo has had a remarkable development. Now present in 270 outlets Kenzo designs include women, men and children's ready-to-wear, active sportswear, fashion accessories, fine leather goods, perfume, and home decoration.
