Safilo & fashion firm Hugo Boss sign eyewear license

Padua based fashion accessory maker SAFILO GROUP and leading fashion firm HUGO BOSS jointly announce a license agreement expiring on December 31st 2013 for the design, production and worldwide distribution of BOSS and HUGO eyewear collections.
Bruno Sälzer, Chief Executive Officer at HUGO BOSS stated that with SAFILO GROUP, HUGO BOSS has found a strong license partner in the eyewear sector. They are very pleased about this cooperation and are looking forward to a successful future together.
Fashion and luxury eyewear SAFILO GROUP Chairman Vittorio Tabacchi commented that they are particularly happy to partner with one of the leading fashion brands in the fashion industry. Their positions as global leaders in their respective sectors, along with their combined experience and expertise in design, quality and distribution, will ensure that this partnership is a success.
The new BOSS and HUGO eyewear collections will be presented in October 2006 and will be distributed internationally in HUGO BOSS boutiques and through exclusive department and optical stores.
HUGO BOSS and SAFILO GROUP will ensure the smooth transition of BOSS and HUGO eyewear collections from the current licensor Charmant to SAFILO GROUP, for the benefit of all customers.
