Fashion shows at Bawadi Mall spurs local business
Jun '10
Live fashion shows at Bawadi Mall have boosted the retail and clothes business in Al Ain City. The shows, held twice a week, have resulted in sales spurt at most tenants in the mall, including international, regional and local brands.

Bawadi Mall, in association with selected international and local brands, has conducted the fashion show, where latest ranges of fashion were being displayed.

Khalid Shraim, Marketing Manager, Bawadi Mall said: “We held the live fashion shows on the sidelines of our “Shop & Win” campaign. We have been showcasing the latest range of fashion from Zara, Mango, H&M, Marks & Spencer, BHS, Splash, New Look, Next, Hanayen, Nautica, RIVA, H. Flo, Promod, Gant and Kashkha along with fashion clothes targeting children like Adams, Mothercare, Baby Shop, Ladybird and For you.”

Fashion shows are a new concept in the region. The move reflects the mall's plans to boost sales through innovative ideas. Bawadi Mall announced that until the issue of this press release, the mall attracted 1100,000 visitors during this campaign.

The fashion shows are part of the 51 day “Shop & Win” campaign that ends this Friday (4th of June 2010).

Shraim added: “In addition to the fashion show, “Shop & Win” featured a series of entertainment and shopping offers targeting the diversity of customers. The visitors were enticed by the attractive promotions given by the outlets. The campaign had daily raffles that let visitors win coupons with thousands of dirhams provided by Bawadi Mall along with the stores. A raffle was made every day to pick three winners.”

Shraim added: “We have given away more than 150 prizes in daily raffles that were supervised by a representative of the Abu Dhabi Economic Development Department and officials from the mall and the participating tenants.”

Fashion products in Bawadi Mall fit all choices and budgets. There offers featured multinational leading brands. Also, local brands had a lion's share in the modern designs and fashion that was displayed.

New brands have made their debut in Al Ain city through Bawadi Mall, such as Zara, Mango, MAX, Marks & Spencer, Kotton, New look, H&M, ACE, Toys “R” US, Adidas, Guess, Nokia, BHS, Danube BUILDMART and Magrudy's amongst others. L.L.C., houses a mix of international as well as regional retail brands of fashion, food, jewellery and much more, all in a bright, spacious, and inviting environment, distinguished by a wide curved vaulted skylight that soars above the main corridor and its main three spacious courts.

In addition to “Shop & Win” promotion activities, the Bawadi Mall offers round the year entertainment programmes including the 10,000 sq. m. “Family Entertainment Center” featuring a varied mix of fun, ranging from the “Roller Coaster” to the “Fun Ski Village”, amongst many other attractions have contributed in attracting this big number of visitors to the mall.

Not to mention the eight movie theatres including Grand Class Hall, a bowling alley, a distinctively rich food-court and several casual dining alternatives offering delicious varieties of cuisines.
