Last season, LFW moved towards customizing the fashion week platform to the Indian market and introduced 'Resort' which has tremendous international appeal and resulted in significant business for showcasing designers. LFW continues in this vein by focusing on the current season with LFW Winter/Festive 2010 which will weave in the importance of Indian festivals and the fashion that is prevalent in Indian society during the coming months; thereby, facilitating and showcasing more Indian season relevant lines.

Anil Chopra, Advisor, Lakme said, “We are pleased with the overwhelming response received for LFW Winter / Festive 2010. In its second decade, LFW takes thought leadership and innovation to the next level with unique initiatives like the strategic shift, Resort Wear and the upcoming Winter / Festive 2010. In the years to come, LFW will continue its quest for creative talent and provide the country with cutting edge fashion designers.”
