Over 150 manufacturers and exporters have put on display the best of their products in fashion jewellery and accessories to enable more than 300 overseas buyers from across the globe to source their requirements under one roof from all over India.
During April-May, the exports of handicrafts registered an increase of Rs 201.72 crore from Rs 1340.84 crore to Rs 1542.56 crore up by 15.04 per cent in rupee terms. In dollar terms, the exports have shown an increase of USD 60.88 million from 272.84 million dollar to 333.73 million dollar up by 22.31 per cent in dollar terms.
EPCH (Export Promotion Council For Handicrafts) is the nodal export promotion body for handicrafts in India under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.
