Management changes at Pacific Brands Limited

Consumer brands managing firm Pacific Brands Limited (Pacific Brands) announced changes to the Senior Executive structure as part of its ongoing review of structure and people development. The changes will be effective from 1 December 2005.

The changes include the appointment of Stephen Tierney to Group General Manager (GGM) Operations, Sue Morphet to Group General Manager of a combined Underwear & Hosiery Group and Steve Audsley to Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Commenting on the management changes, Chief Executive Officer Paul Moore stated that these changes will allow Pacific Brands to focus on growth and to take advantage of the many operational opportunities that exist across their Group. The consolidation of their Underwear & Hosiery group will provide a better platform for strategic direction and brand positioning.

These new roles will give Stephen, Sue and Steve the opportunities to develop new skills. Each brings with them great experience from both within Pacific Brands and their previous external roles. I look forward to working with each of them in their new roles.

Stephen has over 15 years experience with Pacific Brands in a variety of finance roles and most recently was the Chief Financial Officer. As Group General Manager Operations he will be responsible for the day to day running of the four Operating Groups with particular focus on achieving greater operational efficiencies.

Paul Moore informed that he is very pleased to welcome Stephen to the role as GGM Operations. His financial experience and broad understanding of the company will be invaluable in this newly created role. He and I have worked closely on the strategic direction of the company and this role will allow him to further develop his line management skills.
