Leading maker of soft-soled footwear for children age newborn to four years, Robeez Footwear Ltd is partnering with several children's charity organizations in the launch of its holiday "Season of Giving" campaign.
Committed to caring about first steps and the healthy development of children, Robeez is donating shoes and partial proceeds of its sales to K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations) and is supporting Free the Children in their Adopt a Village program.
Robeez has donated a retail value of $1.3 million USD, approximately 50,000 pairs of shoes and Booties, to K.I.D.S. The shoes and Booties have been distributed throughout the globe, including Central and South America, Asia, Africa as well as to the hurricane victims in the southern United States.
"I am very happy to give to children around the world and share in the joy of Robeez shoes," says Sandra Wilson, President and Founder. "Company is thankful for the support and loyalty of customers. It is because of them that are able to give back to children in need."
In addition to the shoe donation, between November 28 and December 31, 2005, Robeez is contributing $2 from every pair of Booties sold through www.robeez.com to K.I.D.S.
"K.I.D.S. is thrilled to partner with Robeez for this generous donation and fundraising effort," said K.I.D.S. President Janice Weinman. "There is an overwhelming need for baby and toddler shoes, and this product contribution will go a long way toward helping thousands of families in need. The recipient agencies and the clients they serve will be immeasurably grateful."
