With fashion week just ending, the brain child behind this entire event has already started the wheels in motion for 2011. The theme for 2011 is entitled, “The Mystique of Fashion” – Baltimore Fashion Week 2011 will run August 11 – 14, 2011. The home for Baltimore Fashion Week 2011 is the first agenda item on the production list to tackle, and meetings have already begun.

For 2011 Baltimore Fashion Week will be produced under the non-profit 501 (c)(3) umberella of Nixon Development, Inc. (NDI).

“NDI is proud to be the non-profit partner for this event. Being a part of this event allows us to continue to live our mission statement of introducing a new normal for our youth, and in this case the new normal is fashion while bringing to life a dream once unfulfilled. Too often our youth are told that they can't do this and they can't do that, but being a part of fashion week and allowing youth to be a part of this event, just proves to them that your dream can be filled, they can come true, and you can do whatever you want to do in life,” stated J.E. Fortune, Executive Program Director.
