The Texas Rangers' Neftali Feliz has agreed to a three-year extension of his endorsement deal with 3N2, a Florida-based designer and manufacturer of high performance baseball and softball footwear. Feliz competes in a wide range of customized 3N2 baseball cleats and features visibly in 3N2's baseball marketing.
2010 has been a stellar year for Neftali Feliz. He has established himself as a dominating closer, becoming a key component of the Rangers' rotation, was named an American League All-Star and capped the season with a World Series appearance against the San Francisco Giants. Feliz is currently considered a frontrunner for the MLB Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year award to be presented November 15, 2010.
Through a translator, Neftali shared his satisfaction with his continued relationship with 3N2; “I am happy to be a part of the 3N2 family - now and into the future. 3N2 knows what it takes for players to succeed and helps me compete at the highest level.”
Sean Murphy, CEO of 3N2, feels that Feliz's talent can take him wherever he wants to go: “Neftali is 3N2 baseball. He is a fantastic talent that is called upon to perform in clutch situations, and succeeds in spectacular fashion. We are very proud of what Neftali has been able to accomplish thus far in his career and feel he can truly become one of Major League Baseball's all time greats. At some point soon, Cy Young and Neftali Feliz will belong in the same conversation.”
