Lightning Bolt once again to explore Brazil

Lightning Bolt, a Hawaii based firm, recently announced that it would once again launch itself in Brazil. The brand instituted by Gerry Lopez and Jack Shipley as back as in 1971, bestowed a new meaning to surfing as it developed a totally new kind of surfboards designed to overcome large tubes of pipeline.
The brand's President in the United States, Jonathan Paskowitz, identifies Brazil as a key player in world market, having a notable presence in the surf world. He said that, they are expecting much from the brand, and added that, it is a big challenge to function in a market which already has established players. The brand would serve as an alternate to the people who actually are hunting for soul surfing values.
He further stated that, the brand has a sound and enduring success story in Brazil, that it created during 80's and 90's, and thus the place is an obvious market for it. They are eager to view the reactions of the consumers, surfers and retailers, as they re-launch themselves in Brazil, he added.
The brand is all set to launch its debut Men's Collection in the early part of next year. The collection basically would include domestically produced items along with some imported products, and would be displayed at a number of surf and speciality outlets across the nation.
Lightning Bolt, is a men's and women's apparel collection brand motivated by traditional as well as modern concepts of surfing. The brand presents a fashionable and functional collection jointly developed by a team of young and experienced designers, who are motivated by the real spirit of soul surfing and the lifestyle of its riders.
